SITUATION
Oz Art had planned and commissioned a statewide outdoor art exhibition that would bring communities together under a single theme: Unite. A who’s-who of outdoor artists from around the world had been commissioned to create the artworks. There was going to be a kick-off gala, artist panels, local events at each installation, etc. Then covid happened.
SOLUTION
We quickly pivoted the exhibition being a remote experience. We designed the identity, built the site, created short documentaries about each of the artworks, developed digital and social campaigns to drive traffic, and staggered the release of each artwork to make the exhibition episodic in its initial release. QR codes at each of the artworks led to their corresponding pages on the site. The site became the one place people could tour all 12 artworks. More than 8k people participated.
