SITUATION
Lone Star Beer has been around since 1884. In Texas, it’s an institution. Over the years, Lone Star’s logo and packaging had evolved. What was once simple and iconic design/packaging had become messy and cluttered.

SOLUTION
There were literally dozens of stars on the packaging of a product named after a lone star. Our solution was to edge the logo back to its leaner days, hold on to the elements that anchor the brand, and wipe away the rest.

IMPACT
Lone Star drinkers, servers, sellers, and distributors embraced the rebrand. Texans began requesting the “new can” or “new bottle” when ordering beer at bars. Sales of bottles/cans/packs increased 23% YOY.
